About

Hey there! Thank you for stopping by.

I’m Fabiola. I’m a writer, based in Mumbai, India. I’ve written about travel, food and culture, but I’m also interested in cities, design and technology (and the intersection of these spaces).

I used to work at Lonely Planet Magazine India, writing, editing and commissioning stories for the monthly travel magazine. I also anchored the brand’s social-media presence, growing its Twitter audience from 40k to around 160k followers.

I have also been a features writer at www.natgeotraveller.in, the digital arm of National Geographic Traveller India magazine (see my work during that time here).

In the past, I’ve interned and freelanced with various publications like Time Out MumbaiTime Out Explorer, and GQ India, while studying English Literature and Anthropology at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

More recently, my work has featured in The HinduMint LoungeCondé Nast Traveller India, Goya Journal and Roads & Kingdoms(You can see a selection of my writing here.) I’ve also produced content and social media strategies for independent travel companies.

Currently, I work as an editor at Paper Planes, a design-focused editorial and e-commerce website.
